All the profits from our half stake in SfS fund The Banks Foundation (TBF). Everyone that works for Skills for Security (SfS) is a shareholder. The other half of SfS is held by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA). All of their profits from SfS are placed in a special reserve account to fund security sector initiatives. All profits go to good causes.
The Banks Foundation is committed to helping the next generation of entrepreneurs fast-track their career ambitions.
"I'm passionate about helping young people realise their potential, whether through apprenticeships, entrepreneurship or both. TBF provides an important boost for young enterprise by seeking out people that have something you cannot teach, or are blocked from demonstrating their abilities by standard academia. By creating wealth in our sector, we will ensure we attract the very best talent and move the security sector forward, benefiting the entire value chain.
The Banks Foundation
The BSIA is the trade association for the professional security industry in the UK. Our members are responsible for more than 70% of privately provided UK security products and services (by turnover) including the manufacture, distribution and installation of electronic and physical security equipment and the provision of security officer services and consultancy.
